Sardar Patel Education Trust

• Initially in the year of 1997 Mr. Ramesh Vaghasia called and integrated a group of young and enthusiastic youth and inspired them to serve to needy students in the field of education.

• Under the magnetic efforts of thoughts of our beloved national leader and well called “Architect of India” Sardar Vallbhbhai Patel, he and his team established a Non – Government organization “Saurashtra Education Group of Vidyanagar, Surat”

• Under this he is undergoing many educational activities for the personality development of students, including “General knowledge Test” every year in Surat for the students of 9th, 10th and 11th  standard.

• In the year 2002, he got registered the trust under the name of “Sardar Patel Education Trust” And Currently he is holding the post of President in the trust.

• He arranges every year “Career Information & Guidance seminar” for students to motivate them for higher education.

• He found one “Career Development Centre” to provide continuous career guidance to students in Surat and a “Reading Hall” for the students who wishes to read but not having that facility at their home due to conge station and crowdie situation in slum area. Since inception of the trust, under his presidentship the trust has developed many facilitative infrastructure and extended many activities in diversified fields.

Saurashtra Patel Seva Samaj

• With the intention to serve his own community Mr. Ramesh Vaghasia joined “Saurashtra Patel Seva Samaj” which is a registered trust and serving to the community and society. He is the trustee of this trust since long.

• The Said N.G.O. had made revolution by arranging “Group Marriage” instead of expending much more in individual marriage.

• He inspired community people for social reforms under the banner of “Group Marriage” Celebration. He gave ideas to cut in luxurious expenses and to live simple life with high thinking.

• It gives every year different meaningfull new message to the public for living better life through “Group Marriage Function”. It made many more efforts for upliftment of poor section of the community. 

Rotary Club of Surat East 

• Mr. Ramesh Vaghasia joined Rotary club of Surat East, a part of Rotary International, a worldwide organization in the year of 2003-04 and immediately appointed as club director in the club.

• He did many efforts to implement and tried to make every activities of the club succeed. He was again appointed as an international service director in the club in the year of 2006-07 and thus every year he has been assigning any important role to play for the betterment of the society and club.

• He walked Continuously on the road of public services through Rotary Club and be appointed as President in the year of 2008-09. As a president of the club, he had handled and implemented many public utility projects during the period of his tenure.

• He campaigned very well for Polio Immunization in Surat city. He had worked hard during flood calamity in Surat in the year of 2006. Currently he is performing his honorary duty at district level also.  

Non-Resident Gujarati Centre 

• Ramesh Vaghasia has been serving as is a chairman of Non-Resident Gujarati Center which is part of Gujarat State Non Resident Gujarati Foundation and being run by The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

• This centre provides information to Gujarati people residing outside of Gujarat and abroad, and help them when they come to visit Gujarat by providing information of Gujarat.

Shree Vaghasia Parivar Surat 

• A social organization established by Vaghasia families residing in surat for the development of entire Parivar in every respect like Educational, Business, Social, Economical, Cultural, Spiritual etc.

• This nonprofit making organization was established in the year of 1997 dedicated to serve all members of this organization by undertaking various activities and programs with the intension to be helpful in different ways especially to needy and poor people of the parivar.

• It annually organize functions to appreciate students and other achievers by awarding them for getting higher results in their respective standards and fields.

• It also honor achievers in the field of business and services. It honor to the great personalities who devote their important time in the services towards needy and poor people of the parivar in special and society in general.

• It also undertake many developmental activities for the youth, children and women of our Parivar to strengthen them in all respect.

• Every year it arranges Blood Donation Camp to promote this social responsibility program to help patients who are in need of blood.

Jay Jawan Nagrik Samiti, Surat 

• Jay Jawan Nagrik Samiti is the only Surat based Non government organization which falicitates and financially helps to the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the country.

• This public organization came into existence since the Kargil war fought by india with Pakistan in the year of 1999.

• Many more people deposited huge amount in the temporarily opened bank account of the said Samiti by known and unknown people including very small labourers and then the trust was registered and operated for the benefit of family members of martyrs from Gujarat state.

• Ramesh Vaghasia has been serving as executive committee member in this trust to respect and help to the martyrs who gave their lives for our beloved countries.

Awake India Foundation 

• Mr. Ramesh Vaghasia, who has been giving an important contribution in  Social services, under his guidance an important organization of social work was started for the purpose of making his dream India or society. This   organization is  "Awake India Foundation".

• Keeping in mind the social, economic, national and other problems of different communities, the efforts are being made to bring awareness about this among the people of different communities.

• The main purpose of the organization is to create nationalism among the people of the country and nationality is the first in the priority of the people.

• The efforts are  being made by this organization to make aware of people to perform their duties before using their rights.

Suryapur Sanskrit Pathshala 

• Sanskrit is the very ancient language in the world which was developed and used in India. Ramesh was highly interested in this language since his education period and kept the same by joining this educational organization as Advisory Committee Member.  

• He has been appreciating and motivating Sanskrit students for studying in Sanskrit and also to develop their knowledge in Sanskrit Granths of ancient India including Vedas and Upnishads.

Auro University Surat 

• AURO University is grounded in value based education and imparts integral learning and leadership, where the mind, body and spirit are aligned and prepared to embark on a journey of lifelong enrichment for both, the individual and the community.

• Mr. Ramesh Vaghasia has been appointed as a member of Social Leaders Committee to give their valuable advise to the university in respect of the development of the said university.
